Assisting her husband, Greig an electrician, Krystal approached me in the process of setting up of their business, GC Security & Data. The brief was simple - clean-cut and professional branding. My research explored themes around electricity and security, as well as commonly recognised symbols and shapes that represented these concepts. From light switches, bulbs, bulb elements to zigzag sparks simple line drawings, it was a concept where I incorporated the letters G and
C together that also represented a button/switch that grabbed their attention. The chosen font also supported the logo graphic with its generic data-like feel.
